UNITED NATIONS OBSERVERS ARRIVE

Press photo dated 23 June, 1958 with caption that reads: “General view as the United Nations Observers arrive at the frontier of Lebanon to study the battle between the government supporters and the rebels. The root of the present trouble is said to date back to the time of the Suez when President Chamoun refused to break off diplomatic relations with Britain and France.
