Press photo with caption dated 16 January 1952: “Cairo, Egypt: Crowds scurry for candy dropped from a helicopter in Cairo’s Abdine Palace square in celebration of the birth of Crown Prince Ahmed Fuad to King Farouk and Queen Narriman. The infant was named for his grandfather, the late king, and was given the title of Said. A 101-gun salute announced his arrival.”
