Press photo dated 17 July, 1958 with caption that reads: “BEIRUT, Here is an exclusive photo of one of the two Marines who’re captured 7/17 being pushed by a Lebanese rebel with a machine-gun in the Basta quarter street. Residents of the area look on. The photo was taken Al Masa of a rebel newspaper and was received by Radiotelephoto 7/25. The Marines were release a few hours later.”
